Yi Yang Kang

Yi Yang, the founder and Head Roaster of Two Degrees North, also co-founded The Populus Coffee & Food Co. and The Apricus Coffee & Food Co. Over the past decade, he has cultivated Two Degrees North into a regional powerhouse, renowned for roasting coffee for eight national champions.

Raised in a family steeped in the traditions of the coffee business, Yi Yang possesses an unparalleled knowledge of coffee, sourcing the finest beans from around the world to delight every palate. His passion for coffee is evident in every cup, driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation.

Ruoqi Wong

Ruoqi is the esteemed Head of Coffee at Two Degrees North. An authorized SCA trainer, she is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of coffee enthusiasts. As a sensory and technical judge for national competitions, her expertise is widely recognized.

Her accolades include being the Champion of the Singapore National Barista Championship in 2024 and 1st runner-up of the Singapore National Barista Championship in 2023. Ruoqi will represent Singapore at the World Barista Championship 2025 in Milan, Italy. She also holds the title of 2016 Malaysia Brewers Cup Champion, showcasing her longstanding commitment to excellence in the coffee industry.
